So the autumn is properly here. I could not only feel it from the weather, but from some strange bugs that we both caught here, and there was some time spent in bed this past week.
Despite all the sleep, Lemsip, coughing and cups of tea, it was still a very eventful week. There’s some visual evidence below, but just to sum it up- I was taking some photographs for Coffee Chocolate and Tea here in Finnieston, met up with guys from an amazing bakery (I can’t tell you the name yet) to give them advice on the website, cake photography and other inspirational chat and, this Friday had another two photoshoots for Makers projects. Again, I won’t post anything final from it, but there’s some wee glimpses from two very different but equally inspiring studio spaces of the talented Alison Macleod- jewellery artist, and Sue Biazotti- painter.
We saw a film today- Tyrannosaur, not the cheery Sunday afternoon movie, but surely good and certainly keeps your attention all the way through. I will not write a review, go and see it- raw, beautiful and wonderfully shot. You do need something warming after a film like this and with all the wind and rain we’re back home, goulash bubbling away, plum crumble in the oven and beers chilling in the fridge.
Life’s not bad these days, I even got back to books starting with R.Brautigan and J.L.Borges- just the right stuff to keep your imagination going before falling asleep.
P.S. The website is nearly there, became a massive job this, but close enough now!
Have a calm Sunday night, wherever you are.
